We recieved an invite to Aunt Joyces 80th birthday party, taking place at the Embassy Suites in Sacramento California, where cousin Clay is the Executive Chef.
I knew right away, actually I knew when Joyces kids were discussing it last summer, that I would go and bring my girls who missed out on seeing the Californians and Oregonians last summer.
The Everett family flew Friday morning, followed by the Bremerton family at 3, and last but not least, me and my girls came in after school and work, arriving at 9. I met up with Dan, Tony and Cap and we left to go have fun on the town.
The next day, Danika flew in. Everyone was here.
We went on a river cruise. It was very interesting and educational, and it was a good time for the family to be together, except for those that stayed behnig to get the party together, and Mathew who really wanted to see the Army Museum.
The party was great. Chef Clay came out and described each dish. We played some games, and some of us danced, while most of us caught up. It was a big surprise to see Gale and her mother in attendance!
All in all, it was a great party for a great Aunt!!
